The objective is to reflect critically on the new digital technologies and their implications for the pedagogical use of the cell phone as a potentiator of classroom interaction. It was based on a theoretical reference on the subject and from observations of the school practice as a teacher of the public network. This experience made it possible to create an action proposal in which to test the cell phone as a pedagogical resource in the classroom by developing content from the Katoot application. The proposal is interesting because it innovates in the field of pedagogical practice with the use of digital technologies for the elaboration of content together with the students. Este trabalho trata de uma proposta de ação sobre o uso pedagógico do celular/smartphone para as séries iniciais do ensino fundamental, a partir do aplicativo Kahoot. O objetivo é refletir criticamente sobre as novas tecnologias digitais e suas implicações para o uso pedagógico do celular como potencializador de interação em sala de aula. Partiu-se de referencial teórico sobre o referido tema e de observações da prática escolar enquanto professora da rede pública municipal. Tal experiência possibilitou criar uma proposta de ação em que se experimente o celular como recurso pedagógico em sala de aula desenvolvendo conteúdo a partir do aplicativo Kahoot.
