These exhibits have records of documents, stories, photos, music, movies and even today as women viewed in search of this space everywhere that are occupied by men without any restrictions. In the ballroom dance is no different. Until today, the traditional method of teaching in this mode is that of male driving, the rider is not allowed to move the dance, restoring only the role of being led. Such an observation, which is often unquestioned by teachers and students and reproduced by younger teachers, is seen as a “traditional” way to learn / learn to dance in the ballroom. In this particularity, the objective of this research is to create a methodology for the application of improvisation techniques in Zouk dance hall, based on the principles of gestures and movements that are used, however, without other technical forms of dance. Na história da humanidade, vemos quase que em todos os espaços temporais, mulheres lutando pelos seus direitos. Essas lutas possuem registros documentais, através de historiadores, fotos, músicas, filmes e ainda hoje as mulheres seguem em busca desse espaço em todos os lugares que são ocupados por homens sem nenhuma restrição. Na dança de salão não é diferente. Até hoje o método tradicional de ensino nesta modalidade é a da condução masculina, no qual o cavalheiro dita a movimentação da dança, restando à dama apenas o papel de ser conduzida. Tal observação, que parte tanto de professores quanto de alunos, muitas vezes não é questionada e é reproduzida por inúmeros professores, visto que é a forma “tradicional” de ensinar/aprender dança de salão.
