Resumo:
The present work is a bibliographical study, which has as generais objective to understand the role of the pedagogical coordinator in the school environment. As specific objectives, to identify the attributions and competences of a pedagogical coordinator, to analyze the consequences of the absence of the pedagogical coordinator in the school. The methodology used in carrying out this research was initially carried out a bibliographical survey to better understand the theme to be discussed, then from the readings and reflections on the role of the pedagogical coordinator in the school space to identify the consequences of the absence of the pedagogical coordinator in the school it was started to be written with the help of the advisor., sought theoretical support in authors such as Libâneo (2004); Vasconcellos (2002); Orssolom (2006), among others, to understand the importance of the pedagogical coordinator in the school environment. The results indicate that the work of the pedagogical coordinator is a very arduous task and needs a lot of commitment, responsibility, companionship, availability and partnership, in order to carry out a quality work and contribute to the formation of teaching and learning of students, teachers, and community. generally.
