This study aim to check the products, projects and activities which occurs in the Library Monteiro Lobato, which is linked to SIEBE, being part of the public education system from Pará state. As well as, try to comprehend the importance of the professional librarian in this educational space. Our study also evaluates and intent to fit this library in basic or exemplar standard according to the Parameters to Scholar Libraries developed by GEBE. A qualitative approach was taken as methodology; we applied as face-to-face interviews and questionnaires. Also, were made field, bibliographical and documental research. Furthermore, our theoretical discussion addresses subjects like: scholar library, scholar librarian and SIEBE. Either, we debate how the chosen library to this study works, observed its library performance and did a general its evaluation. Roughly, was possible see a change after adjustments made by a librarian. Moreover, we concluded that the Library Monteiro Lobato works partially in basic standard, as established by the Parameters to Scholar Libraries. Even tough, it only presents an exemplar standard in the organizational indicators in its bibliographic collection, resulted from the autonomy developed by the librarian. |
