Remote learning has reached a relevant space in education in the new pandemic scenario by Covid-19. This modality is adopted by institutions on an emergency basis, as an alternative to continue the care and teaching-learning process. In this sense, the present work has as general objective to verify the occurrence of in-person and remote training of users and its offer by university libraries in the north and northeast of Brazil, in the period from 2019 to 2020. For this, through the specific objectives, it sought to: Characterize the university library context during a pandemic; Identify the number of user training that took place in person and remotely; Showing the overview of the occurrence of training and the number of assistances before and during the pandemic. The work is configured as a descriptive and exploratory study, with a qualitative and quantitative approach. We used the use of electronic tools such as questionnaires for data collection. The results undermined that virtual training offerings were timely and critical during the pandemic period. It is concluded that the provision of virtual training is essential for the information society that aims at development based on educational, social and other aspects. Evidenciando o crescimento das novas tecnologias nos tempos atuais ocorre-se uma alteração nas configurações tradicionais das Bibliotecas Universitárias, o meio eletrônico e a comunicação em rede apresentam novas perspectivas de educação entre bibliotecários e usuários. O ensino remoto tem alcançado um espaço relevante na educação no novo cenário de pandemia por Covid-19. Tal modalidade adotada por instituições de forma emergencial, como alternativa para dar seguimento no processo de prestamento de atendimento e o ensino-aprendizagem. Neste sentido, o presente trabalho tem como objetivo geral verificar a ocorrência de capacitações presenciais e remotas de usuários e sua oferta pelas bibliotecas universitárias da região norte e nordeste do Brasil, no período de 2019 a 2020. Para isto mediante aos objetivos específicos buscou: Caracterizar o contexto da biblioteca universitária durante a pandemia; Identificar o número de capacitações de usuários ocorridas no presencial e no remoto; Apresentar o panorama da ocorrência de capacitações e o número de atendimentos antes e durante a pandemia. O trabalho se configura como um estudo descritivo e exploratório, com uma abordagem qualitativa e quantitativa. Utilizou-se o uso de ferramentas eletrônica como os questionários para a coleta de dados. Os resultados mostraram que as ofertas de capacitações virtuais foram oportunas e fundamentais durante o período de pandemia.
