This work was based on the experiment "How much skin do you have?" available on the Multimedia Mathematical site, which aims to relate the geometry of geometric solids with the shapes of the human body. The experiment was carried out in two classes of the 2nd year of high school, 21 students from the State School "João Bosco Ramos de Lima", located in the municipality of Parintins/AM and 20 students from the Military College of the Military Police 1, located in Manaus/ AM, totaling 41 students. Through the results, it was verified the importance of students seeing themselves as active subjects in the knowledge construction process. In this process, students cease to be mere passive beings to give way to active agents in the development of their own learning, where they will be encouraged to seek solutions to the problems presented and to develop new knowledge, thus improving the quality of learning. |
