Communication analysis is an approach that aims to understand how communication processes are structured and their effects on recipients, content and society. This work aimed to carry out a communicational analysis of the journalistic discourse involved in the magazine “Amazonas Faz Ciência” FAPEAM. The corpus was composed of cover stories from 10 editions of the magazine, covering the period from 2005 to 2024. The research is qualitative in nature and was guided by the analysis of journalistic discourse, based on Luiza Silva's theory, which proposes an integrative approach between the study of media and discursive practices. This theory emphasizes the role of the media in the construction and dissemination of meanings through processes of enunciation and mediation between different types of knowledge. Additionally, the Authier-Revuz theory was used, which allows observing the different textual resources used in scientific dissemination, based on the concept of heterogeneity shown, addressing linguistically describable aspects. It is concluded that the communicational analysis of the journalistic discourse in the magazine's editions reveals a significant effort to promote science, technology and innovation as fundamental tools for the development of the Amazon. Based on the theory of Luiza Rosângela da Silva, this study sought to understand how the discourse conveyed by the magazine constructs representations about science and technology, in addition to analyzing the implications of these narratives for the public perception of science and regional development. Throughout the 10 editions analyzed, we can see a recurring narrative that positions science and technology as viable and necessary solutions to the region's socioeconomic and environmental challenges. FAPEAM, in its role as a promoter and financier of science, is portrayed as an essential institution for strengthening scientific knowledge and creating opportunities that benefit both new generations of researchers and society in general. A análise comunicacional é uma abordagem que visa entender como os processos de comunicação são estruturados e seus efeitos sobre os receptores, o conteúdo e a sociedade. Este trabalho teve como objetivo realizar a análise comunicacional do discurso jornalístico implicado na revista amazonas faz ciência da FAPEAM. O corpus foi composto pelas matérias de capa de 10 edições da revista, abrangendo o período de 2005 a 2024. A pesquisa é de natureza qualitativa e orientou-se pela análise do discurso jornalístico, fundamentada na teoria de Luiza Silva, que propõe uma abordagem integradora entre o estudo dos meios de comunicação e as práticas discursivas. Essa teoria enfatiza o papel da mídia na construção e disseminação de sentidos por meio de processos de enunciação e mediação entre diferentes saberes. Adicionalmente, utilizou-se a teoria de Authier-Revuz, que permite observar os diversos recursos textuais empregados na divulgação científica, com base no conceito de heterogeneidade mostrada, abordando aspectos linguisticamente descritíveis. Conclui-se que a análise comunicacional do discurso jornalístico das edições da revista revela um esforço significativo em promover a ciência, tecnologia e inovação como ferramentas fundamentais para o desenvolvimento da Amazônia. Baseando-se na teoria de Luiza Rosângela da Silva, este estudo buscou entender como o discurso veiculado pela revista constrói representações sobre ciência e tecnologia, além de analisar as implicações dessas narrativas para a percepção pública da ciência e do desenvolvimento regional. Ao longo das 10 edições analisadas, percebe-se uma narrativa recorrente que posiciona a ciência e a tecnologia como soluções viáveis e necessárias para os desafios socioeconômicos e ambientais da região.
